I just recently figured out about Mt Baker Vapor not too long ago. It’s quickly became my go-to place to order e-liquid. I have yet too find anywhere that has this good of quality juice for $5 per 15ml. One flavor I got on my last purchase was Orange Dream Bar.
I had actually been eating a Orange Creamsicle earlier in the week and when I was searching through the flavors at Mt Baker I happened to see the Orange Dream Bar flavor. I figured I would give it a try and see how close it was to the real thing.
I purchased a 15ml bottle of 12mg strength e-liquid. I ended up going with a 50/50 mix of PG/VG, which is something I usually don’t go for. I usually try to stick with anywhere from 65-80% PG because they tend to do better in the tanks I use.
I really enjoy the taste of Mt Baker’s Orange Dream Bar e-liquid. It has a nice orange flavor that’s not too overly bitter like some other orange e-liquids I’ve tried. It’s a sweet tasting orange flavor with a nice, thick, creamy back end to finish it off.
I could definitely see this as being one of my all-day vapes, and it has been for the last few days. At this point I’m trying to conserve so I’ll have enough to last until my new order comes in.
I’m not really used to 50% VG, so I was really blown away by the massive clouds of vapor this liquid produced. With even the tiniest hit you get a thick cloud of vapor. My main setup when I was testing this e-liquid was my VAMO V3 with a Mini Nova V2 Tank. I was using a ~3/4 charged 18650 battery and vaping at 9 Watts.
I found 9 Watts was the sweet spot with this liquid. 8.5 Watts was decently flavored, but only produced decent vapor and lacked a good throat hit. 9.5 Watts had a great throat hit, but had a burnt taste. I did notice some dry hits when I was using my Mini Nova Tank. I somewhat expected this because it seems liquid with 50% VG doesn’t want to wick very well. I diluted it slightly and it was vaping like a charm.
There isn’t a whole lot to say about the throat hit. At 9 Watts, this e-liquid produces about the best throat hit you can get out of 12 mg strength liquid. It’s not overpowering whatsoever, but you still know it’s there. I’ve just recently stepped down from 16 mg liquid, and it still satisfies me, so that says something.
If you’ve ever heard me talk about Mt Baker‘s e-liquid, you know how much I love the price. They are one of the most affordable places I’ve came across that actually has great tasting e-liquid. It’s $4.99 for 15ml, $7.49 for 30ml, $10.99 for 50ml, and $39.99 for 236ml. I’m not sure you’re going to be able to find better prices unless you get into DIY e-liquid.
For the amount of e-liquid you can get at such a cheap price, Mt Baker’s Orange Dream Bar e-liquid is a must-try. If you’re a fan of any type of fruit flavored e-liquid, I can almost say you’re going to automatically like this. There’s no fake, chemically taste like many other cheaper e-liquids. I would suggest giving it a try. At $5 per 15ml you really can’t go wrong.
