Continuing on my Mt Baker kick, here is a quick review on Fruity Hoops e-liquid from MBV. This is actually not a flavor I ordered. Mt Baker was kind enough to send out a 15ml sample with my order and it happened to be Fruity Hoops.
It was 12mg strength, 80/20 PG/VG. It has a really strong sweet, fruit smell. I accidentally finished off the whole bottle and threw it away before I realized that I hadn’t done a review on it yet, so I apologize for not having pictures or a video to accompany this post.
Fruity Hoops e-Liquid has a really good fruit flavor to it. It tastes really light. I enjoy it a lot better than any Fruit Punch I’ve tried. I happened to have some Fruit Loops sitting around, so I got some out to do a side-by-side comparison of the two.
In the comparison, I noticed they did pretty well on matching the mixed fruit flavor that you would get from a handful of cereal. They even managed to imitate the subtle dryness you get on the back end. It’s not spot-on, but no e-liquid ever is. I feel Mt. Baker did a good job on this liquid.
The vapor production of Fruity Hoops is pretty dang good. It was a 80/20 mix so I wasn’t expecting any miracles, but I was pleasantly surprised. Vaping at 9W was able to produce some really hefty clouds of vapor.
The throat hit is somewhat lacking, but that wasn’t a big problem for me. To me, it seems like a lighter fruit flavor so I would expect a subtle throat hit. Subtle was about the best word I could come up with to describe it. It’s far from a kick in the back of the throat – more like a love tap.
My favorite thing about Fruity Hoops e-liquid is the price. I love almost all Mt Baker’s e-liquid I try because of the fast shipping and unbelievable prices. At $5 per 15ml bottle, it comes in at one of the cheapest places I’ve found to purchase e-liquid.
