The Joye 510 is an old-y, but a goody. It’s been around for a long time and is a tried-and-true electronic cigarette. I have suggested it to several people who were making the switch from analogs to e-cigs. The Joye 510 is has always been quite popular among new e-cig users.
Look / Feel
The Joye 510 has a manual battery, which I absolutely love. I wouldn’t purchase a PV without a manual battery anymore. It’s look is similar to an analog, which is part of the reason I suggest it to new users. It’s lightweight and fits nicely inside of your pocket.
I tried this using the Joye 510 two different ways: with cartridges and with dripping directly onto the atomizer. I have to say that I much prefer dripping as opposed to filling the cartridges. The vapor production was actually quite nice when dripping. I was actually surprised at the amount of flavor that you get out of the e-lqiuid just by using a stock Joye 510.
For this test I was using some 16mg Strawberry VG E Liquid, which I purchased at eLiquidPlanet.com, mixed with some 16mg Peach Liquid, also purchased from eLP. I also tried a few other e-liquids from different vendors and with various ratios of PG/VG. Most all liquids seemed to do quite well with dripping. I had a slight problem with 100% VG when using a cartridge.
In looking around different vendors online, I found that the average price is going to run you about $35. To me, this is a pretty good price considering you’re getting 2 complete units. The only other thing you will need besides the Joye 510 Starter kit is some e-liquid to vape.
